Towards WEVA World Congress 2023
ONLINE NOVEMBER 8th-11th
Due to restrictions resulting from the global Pandemic WEVA will be hosting a special congress as a virtual online event from 8th-12th November 2021. The event will occur across four time zones and will attract registrants from across the globe. The event is entitled “WEVA Online Conference 2021: Towards WEVA World Congress Chile 2023” and has an overriding theme of “improving equine health and welfare globally.”
Abstracts should be submitted to abstracts2021@wevaonline.org, no later than 1200 GMT on 10th May 2021.
Abstracts must comprise no more than 500 words describing original research, clinical case report or clinical data, on the forms provided in Arial font size 11. No more than 4 authors should be listed and the institution where the work was completed or funded should be indicated. Authors must declare ethical approval according to the WEVA abstract guidelines and any contributors to the funding of the study. Abstracts not previously presented at the submission deadline are eligible.
Selected authors will be able to record their presentation lasting no more than 10 minutes that will be uploaded to broadcast during the conference with the author present for live discussion. Due to limitations in presenting slots those authors not selected for presentation will be able to display a poster summarizing their abstract on the virtual poster display that will run throughout the conference and afterwards.
WEVA is a charitable organization working to advance the health and welfare of horses worldwide by promoting and offering quality continuing education for equine practitioners, especially in the developing world.
