Jennifer Yuan Zhou graduated from China Agriculture University with a Master’s Degree in Equine Reproduction in 2009. During her research program, she spent time practicing at Tierklinik Königsberg in Hessen, Germany. Subsequently, Jennifer participated in the Godolphin Flying Start two year international horse racing scholarship program. Having a global understanding of the equine industry, she decided to pursue equine veterinary medicine as her career goal. She gained her national veterinary license in 2015, and later added equine acupuncture and dentistry certificates to her qualifications.
Jennifer is a shareholder and director of Meilian Zhonghe animal veterinary hospital, running the equine ambulatory veterinary service for riding clubs in Beijing. She is an equine expert offering CE in equine veterinary medicine at Ruipeng Medical Group.
Jennifer is a board member of the Equine Veterinary Medicine Committee of China Horse Industry Association. She organized equine workshops for Beijing Companion Animal Veterinary Congress in 2016 and 2017. She was invited to speak at WEVA in 2018 and separately provided simultaneous translation for some other speakers.
